Millions of people face chronic pain every day, encountering obstacles that limit their ability to move and enjoy activities they love. For them, Enso is a beacon of hope. This FDA-cleared wearable device that delivers electrical impulses—called waveforms—to provide effective pain relief for musculoskeletal pain.
Non-addictive and non-invasive, Enso comfortably adheres to the skin with an adhesive gel pad, allowing members to wear it during exercise therapy and other daily activities restricted by pain. When paired with our structured exercise therapy program, Enso offers powerful pain relief that gets people moving again. This duo is 2.8x more likely to reduce pain than exercise therapy alone (1) — without drugs or surgery.
The Power Of Waveforms
Enso delivers relief through waveforms. A waveform is a specific pattern of electrical impulses. These impulses modulate nerve activity, altering pain processing in the nervous system and promoting the release of endorphins. When these impulses enter the body through the skin, they interact with the nervous system to decrease pain sensitivity and enhance naturally occurring endorphins.
Our patented waveforms target different areas of the body with varying amplitudes and frequencies, offering versatile treatment options. Members can control the amplitude that best suits their comfort level, depending on the treatment area and the amount of pain they feel. While earlier versions of Enso shipped with one waveform, Enso 3 contains three waveforms tailored to different areas of the body, including:
"Deep" waveforms suggested for large, tense areas.
“Gentle” waveforms for more gradual relief, suggested for smaller areas of the body.
“Relaxing” waveforms for lighter relief, suggested for sensitive areas.
The new “Gentle” and “Relaxing” waveforms address diverse user needs, including those with more sensitivity to electrical stimulation.
A Future-Proof Waveform Platform
Enso’s innovation doesn’t stop with the current generation of waveforms. With our latest version of Enso introduced this year, Enso is now a platform for delivering new treatments, with the ability to download additional waveforms via over-the-air updates.
This feature allows us to continuously expand and evolve the type of care Enso provides, without requiring members to receive a new Enso device. Once developed and validated, these waveforms can be uploaded to existing devices, providing members with new treatment options. It’s a foundation for the future of personalized, non-invasive pain management—transforming care for millions of people.
