- Hinge Health Movement Awards 2023
This year, we held the second annual Hinge Health Movement conference on June 6th at the historic Old Post Office in Chicago. The event brought together hundreds of employers, consultants, and health plan leaders to learn about the trends that are moving MSK benefits forward and hear how organizations are delivering better outcomes and driving engagement for their members.
At the event, we announced our Movement Awards, a new program where we recognize and celebrate health and benefit leaders for their accomplishments, milestones, and forward-thinking. This year, we featured four categories: Innovator, Pioneer, Impact, and Changemaker.
Here are the clients we’re excited to recognize in each category presented at the conference.
Innovator Award
The Innovator Award celebrates a client for paving the way for more effective musculoskeletal (MSK) care, recognizing teams who think creatively and go above and beyond to ensure employees are aware of their benefits.
With hundreds of company-owned restaurants and corporate teams throughout the U.S., McDonald’s believes it is important to help ensure employees are aware of their benefits, especially those that keep them physically and mentally healthy, like MSK care. We recognize McDonald's for the use of their internal platforms to promote Hinge Health, crafting a creative strategy to meet members where they are. In 2022, McDonald’s exceeded their Hinge Health enrollment target.
Impact Awards
The Impact Award recognizes two clients as having the greatest employee engagement — members engaged and exercise therapies completed — resulting in happier, healthier, and pain-free employees.
The Boeing company is constantly striving to make an impact for their members. To keep members aware of their benefits, the team communicates in a variety of ways — including mailers, emails, and partner referrals. They also maintain a robust benefit portal, which alone accounted for nearly 10% of their total enrollments.
BlueCross and BlueShield of North Carolina has a unique communications strategy that highlights employee success stories with Hinge Health, demonstrating the ease and effectiveness of the program across the organization.
Changemaker Award
The Changemaker Award is for a client who is constantly pushing for better change in benefits to address health equity and access barriers, putting employees and their families first.
The AutoZone team goes above and beyond to identify solutions that remove barriers and help close the health equity gap. They expanded their care to include Women’s Pelvic Health to members, and were also among the first to raise their hand for House Calls to enable AutoZoners access to hybrid care.
Congratulations to all the award recipients and to all for making Movement 2023 a success.
